July is National Nutrition 
Month, pursuant to Presidential 
Decree No. 491. 
The Nutrition Month 
theme in 2018 is “Ugaliing magtanim, Sapat na nutrisyon aanihin!” This theme created by Ms. 
Julie Ann Q. Colipano, a contestant from Valencia City, Bukidnon was selected by the National 
Nutrition Council (NNC) of the 
Philippines out of the 142 contestants that submitted their entries. The Nutrition Month 
Theme 2018 aims to improve the 
healthy food consumption of Filipinos, food security or to be self-sufficient as possible with backyard gardening.
